
BIOGRAPHY

Dagmara Zajac, singer, cellist, pianist, and teacher, was born in Gdynia, Poland, and attended the Feliks Nowowiejski State Music School in Gdansk from the age of six, majoring in voice, cello, and piano. In 1988, she studied at the Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk and graduated from the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf in 1992, majoring in cello and minoring in piano. Having always felt a connection to jazz, she eventually pursued professional vocal training in this field.
She has performed as a singer and musician in Poland, Germany, and Portugal, performing in various concerts and galas. Supported by professional musicians, she has no musical reservations, whether soul, pop, jazz, classical, or even the Portuguese-born fado.
In 2019, she recorded two duets with Portuguese singer Clemente on the new CD "Promessas de amor" and participated as a backing vocalist and cellist on all songs on the CD. Her first pop song, "DO IT," was released in 2020. "No Time To Lose" followed in 2021. In 2022, a new pop song, "Just Free," and "I Give Myself to You" were released.
After many years as a singer, cellist and pianist in various orchestras and bands, she is now starting her own solo career with various projects of her own.
